It's Election Year in the US
... And as I sat reading the papers during my lunchbreak today I found myself wondering how would it affect Metrocity Metro City. What kind of issues would affect people living in a city that has superpowered "Defenders" (either super strong or super brainy!) and supervillains? Would candidates for office try to get the city's Heroes to endorse them? Would the Supervillains try and sabotage the election? What about Roxanne and the local media?
Because when Metro City is not under the control of an Evil Overlord, presumably the citizens have the right to vote.
(And because I'm a bit of a news junkie, I'd love to read some fic or see some art showing how this stuff would work in the Megaverse!)
