The Economics of the Metro Man Museum - More Thoughts.

I've been thinking about atom_u_b00t's remark about the price of "walkable glass" in last week's museum thread. All right, Metz's museum uses a lot of it, but ... we're talking about a universe where Megamind invents stuff. Who's to say that he hasn't invented a cheap form of walkable glass. Someone could have reversed engineered it from one of his Evil Devices of Mass Destruction, or better yet ... Megs could have patented the process. (I prefer the last option, because it means every time Megamind blows up the museum and the city has to rebuild it, Megamind gets a part of the cost of rebuilding it! Evil Economics for the win! ;-)

The other thought I had was Super Tourism is probably the main industry of Metro City, so the Museum makes economic sense even if it becomes a target. The tourists come, and if they're lucky they get to see a Megs vs. Metz battle - but if not, at least they can visit the Metro Man Museum (and buy lots of souvenirs on the way out!)
