Happy dance of Megamind book happy dancing!
Every year we celebrate Christmas late with my wife's family (it's just too hard with other in-laws to get everyone together) so I had my Christmas with them on Saturday. And guess what I got?
The Art of Megamind book! Yey! I practically did a happy dance around the room. Ok, it wasn't much of a surprise because I had suggested it, but still yey!! And then as soon as there was a lull in family activities, I sat and flipped through it. I haven't really read all the text yet, but oh my god, this thing is awesome!
So far my favorites are the different ideas and schematics for Megamind's Lair, and the detailed drawings of Roxanne's Loft. I also really appreciate some of the concept designs for evil machinery and plots, because that is the kind of thing I SUCK at coming up with for my fanfic and now I have some very lovely ideas....
I also really enjoyed this quote :
