And that summery sounds like it has potential, I'd give it a chance! Plus, I love illustrations, and you've got a unique style I'd love to see more of. She sounds like a cool creature too.

I just looked! She's very cool, I like her design very much :) I loved the tidbits you gave about her biology and abilities, and she's got good anatomy too.

As for the "How and Why she's on Earth" thing, if your aiming for her to be evil the God/Queen?King/Leader sending her to Earth to take over or exterminate might work out well, but if your going for her to be misunderstood, then perhaps some great accident resulted in her being sent to earth, or landing their by chance. Say, maybe some kind of ice-earth quake or asteroid collision resulted in her being trapped in a chuck of ice and launched into space? Or do her people have technology?

Her people do not have technology, so I was worried as to how she would be sent to Earth. Maybe I will mix the two! I was thinking of her as more of a... warrior, of sorts. Not really a leader in any sense, but it might be interesting for her to feel a sense of pride like "Don't touch me, you filthy peasants!"

I do like the idea of it being an accident; somehow being swallowed up and propelled (maybe by a geyser or something that they have on their planet) into space.

I'm getting so excited! I can barely wait to post the first chapter... I have it all typed out but I do of course want to do the drawing first.

I won't reveal how she got here until later on in the fic, though.

It's not the plot or setting of a story that matters; it's what you do with it. I've read a lot of stuff on this comm that I thought, going in, I would hate, but they turned out to be so well imagined and well written that I ended up enjoying them. So I say you should trust your muse. whatever she hands you to write will probably be fine.

I like to think I'm a good writer, but I tend to get carried away with details it seems. I think it will be important for me to not rush this and go back and edit the chapters a few times before posting them. I've actually already written the prologue but I keep on going back and changing it lol! I think I might rewrite it completely.
