Midterms~
OMG, so tired. x_x; That's pretty much why my LJ's been update-less lately. The reason I'm so exhausted? Midterms. More specifically, my English midterm project.
For those who don't know, each group in my class needed to do a presentation on "the best place to visit" or whatever. So we decided to make up a place. For some reason, we assumed that would be easier than using a real place... haha wrong. We started working on this project Friday morning right after I got my tooth fixed, but we only worked on it for about an hour. Then we met up again Monday afternoon and work for close to four hours. We thought we only had a little left to work on last night... man were we wrong. XD;
At 9 we met up in the lounge. At 10 some people wanted to watch Nip-Tuck, so we took a bit of a break. After that was over we worked... and worked... and worked. By the time we finally finished it was 2am. Seriously it was. That's a total of ten hours we spent working on this project...
I mean, seriously, you know you're taking waaaaaay too long on a project when a game of Monopoly finishes before you do. FINISHES. Sadly, that's actually what happened too. XD;
Anyway, today we had to present. And I think we were awesome. The group that does the best presentation gets the most extra credit points, and we all think we have a good shot at that after how well everything went today. I so love my group. <3
And on a completely different note, dance. I was late tonight but I didn't care. I was exhausted from that project. I even took a nap today. Wtf? I don't take naps... ever. That's how tired I was today. Anyway, at dance I was so tired that I was hyper-ish... kinda like last night while we were working on the project. So I was talking to Alyssa tonight, really loudly I guess, and Adrianna yelled at me. o.o; She was all, "Ashley, for the last ten years you don't talk AT ALL, and now all of a sudden you talk?" She seriously said that to me too. XD I talk... <<; Sure I was much, much quieter a few years ago, but I've always talked. I hate how everyone's first impression of me is always how quiet I am. ._.;
And now, homework time~
