Kellie and I went to The Big E! today! <3 Just us two. My family doesn't really like going there, but we love it. For those not from New England, The Big E! is The Eastern States Exposition... and it's a huge fair in New England. Huge. It's soooo much fun! I took lots of pictures today, but I'll upload them later. I'm exhausted right now~
Getting there wasn't too bad. There are signs everywhere pointing towards it, so I was able to drive there okay. Once we got there, we first walked around a little bit. We stopped in the state houses first. Then we got some food and went to watch the Peking Acrobats, which was absolutely amazing.
Then we wandered some more and decided to stop and sit down for a bit. We went to go watch some of the horse show. Every time we felt like just sitting and relaxing, that's where we went. The circus was at four, so around 3-ish we headed over to get in line. That was fun to watch. We didn't get to see it last year because the place fills up so fast. It's so fun to see it though. I'm glad we got there early this year. ^^
After that we went to go see the animals. The scary llama that was there last year was back again. ><; But the baby chicks in the hatchery were soooo cute. ^^
Then it was time to go see what we went to The Big E! to see... Brad Paisley's concert! <3
Eric Church opened up first. He was awesome. But I only knew one of his songs. XD; But I'm downloading more now. After him was The Wreckers. They were good too... but again, I only knew one of their songs. XD; Then it was finally time for Brad Paisley~!
He was AWESOME. OMG. It was soooo much fun. But it could have been better. The person sitting in front of us was well over six feet tall... and not exactly skinny either. And it wasn't stadium seating or anything since we were outside... so seeing over/around him wasn't easy for someone my size. ._.; And the woman sitting next to me wasn't small either... and the seats were somewhat small... so she ended up taking up part of my seat too. <<; But once we stood up for Brad Paisley, it was okay. And the tall dude ended up leaving before the concert was over, so we could actually see for a little bit. :D I had so much fun at the concert~~
Getting home, however, was not fun. At all. We got lost. Really lost. OMG. I never want to drive home at night without directions again. It took us and hour and a half to get home from West Springfield... and it's only about a half hour away. I was so scared that I'd never make it back to 91-S... but eventually, by a random stroke of luck, I managed to find it! And now I'm home! <3
Now I shall sleep~
