Graduation Party and Babysitting~
Sunday was my graduation party. I had to go pick up all my friends... but of course, the first person I go to get was still asleep. XD; So that process took a little longer than expected.
After I got everyone, it was off for an adventure. I had never driven all the way to Coventry without my parents before... so I was terrified. I was fine until we got to this one point... I could either go toward Boston or Providence... but I wasn't sure which. So I picked Boston. Ehehe, that turned out to be the wrong one. XD; So we're driving... and I'm not sure if I'm going the right way or not... and then I see Ronaroll. o.o;; I NEVER see ronaroll on the way to my cousins' house, so I knew I was wrong. But I continued to drive anyway. Right as I was about to call my mom and give up, we see an exit sign for Coventry. :O I got so lucky. So we're driving through the middle of nowhere... and eventually I end up on a road I recognize. <3 And then from that point forward, I was okay to get there.
The party itself was... weird... yet fun. I'm not used to seeing my mom's and my dad's side of the family all together. I see my dad's side once a year for Christmas... that's it. But they all showed up for this. I was shocked. And apparently my cousin is pregnant... again. She has the most adorable one year-old named Elizabeth right now. ^^
We spent the day playing air hockey, ping pong, badminton, and darts. <3 The best part of the day though, was finding toads. I wasn't the one to find them, but that't okay. There was also this huge frog named Lou. XD And each toad was tiny and named Cheetos. XD We were afraid Lou was going to eat Cheetos I. But he didn't. <3
Food was good. Dessert was pretty good. Presents were good too. XD I mainly got money, but I'm noy complaining. The weirdest gift was definitely from my cousin (the pregnant one). She stayed at the same dorm I'm staying at, so her gift was a laundry basket full of stuff. Including detergent, shampoo, and all that other good stuff. o.o;
Monday was spent cleaning up my cousins' house... playing Mario Party... and working.
Today I had to babysit. It wasn't too bad. We got to go swimming in their pool. It was hazy out though... and since I didn't think to use sunblock, I burned. ><; And I also couldn't find my swimsuits this morning, so I was forced to take the one-piece I haven't worn since freshman pool. It was a bit tight and it left really weird tan lines when I burned. X_x Besides swimming, all I had to do was sit around and watch them play video games. Not a hard job at all~
