Emerson-Williams Class of 2000~
...shut up about the song. It's the corny graduation song played at EVERY graduation I've been through, and it was just in the video I watched. That's why I was listening to it. XD
Anyway, today in speech class we got back our blue folders. <3 Blue folders are what we've been keeping our writings in since FOREVER. For me, second grade, since that's when I moved to Wethersfield. Most people's original folders got lost along the way, but I got lucky. It's got writings from 2nd grade all the way to this year. OMG, looking back is sooooo much fun. I thought my handwriting was bad now... HA! When I was eight it was awful. And every year, I apparently tried a different style of handwriting. It's weird. XD I should scan some of them sometime~
Getting those back led us into talking about the good times back in elementary school. I miss those days back at EW so much. All the teachers I had back then, the friends I had back then, people that have moved, parties we went to. *sigh* The good old days. XD
I went to go dig out my old Disney Channel tapes for Gina, but while I was doing that, I came across the videos of both my First Communion and my 6th grade stepping up ceremony. :D So I decided to watch those instead, sorry Gina. XD;
The First Communion Tape was so cute! I was talking to Dan Brookman the WHOLE time, OMG. XD And my sister was only two back then, so she was running around in front of the pew. o.o And there was this one guy that fell asleep during it. And the camera person zoomed in on them. XD!
The step up ceremony was fun to watch too. Everyone looks pretty much the same then as they do now. It's weird how much, yet so little, people have changed in the past six years. The slideshow was fun to watch. Everyone gets to pick a random picture to combine with a picture of themselves and it goes into a slideshow. Although, Mrs. Pinney kinda forgot me, so I wasn't in it the first time around. <<; Luckily Casey's mom noticed that and added me in... with a picture of Justin Timberlake, eww, eww, eww. x_x; Ah well, they were cool back then, I suppose. Ah well, watching the video brought back fun memories:
~The Greek Olympics where I was on team Corinth and won a bronze metal in the relay race.
~The Roman Banquet where we got to wear sheets as togas. XD
~The Egyptian Fair where Christina, Kayla, and I had a display on Egyptian fashion and even dressed up ourselves like that. We got on the front page of the Post for that one.
~The Gingerbread House social where Christina and I both forgot frosting... XD;
~The 5th grade Inventions play... I was a sundial. XD

~The 3rd grade kickball tournament where my class one first. And the prize was a giant trophy full of candy, OMG.
I can believe I graduate from high school two weeks from tomorrow. Wow... seems like just yesterday I was graduating from elementary school. "Days go by. I can feel them flying like a hand out the window in the wind as cars go by. It's all we've been given, so you better start living right now." How so very true that is~
