Long, yet fun, day = long entry~
I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning... which is about 45 minutes earlier than I normally get up. 'Twas torture. Then I had to watch the teachers/staff eating breakfast while I was starving. While talking to Moger, someone asked him if today was the day they were sorting out the people that are going to get inducted an he said, "Yes, and we're also kicking out the people that need to get kicked out!" Then Jordan walked by and shushed him. That really scares me... I think she might have meant me. ><;
Anyway, went to CI and then 3/4 of physics. Then I headed down to get on my bus. Bus #1 was awesome. <3 Except, on the way down I was sitting in a position such that I could not converse with my friends. Ah well. It was still fun. The guys in the back of the bus had brought a stereo and were playing random CDs. The had two Backstreet Boys CDs that they played a lot. XD What scare me the most was that the guys knew ALL the words to all the songs. :O
We arrived in NYC around 1-ish, I think. We were supposed to eat at the pier we ate at sophomore year, but there wasn't enough time. So instead, we had to stick with our chaperones for lunch. My chaperone was Mara's dad, he was really nice. My group ended up eating at this place called the Chicken Bar. It was cheap and easy, I liked it. Then we headed to the theater~
We had seats in the balcony, so we had to climb lots of stairs. Catherine is terrified of heights, so she started freaking out. I told her she'd be fine since we were inside, but I was wrong. Mara and Dave went to sit in the first row of the balcony, and they waved for her to join them. But in order to get down there, you have to walk down a lot of really steep steps. I felt really bad for her... she even started crying. ._.;
During Act I, I sat in between Andrew and some random chaperone. We were all the way to the left though, so we were watching from an angle. During intermission, Gina wanted me to wander with her over to the souvenirs. She bought an evil bunny and coconut shells. XD I just got a keychain. The as we headed back to our seats, Danielle told us there were two seats next to her. So we sat over there... in the middle of the balcony.
Spamalot was awesome. It was hilarious. Mara's dad really enjoyed it too. I ended up sitting next to him for Act II. He even laughed so hard he slapped his knee. o.o; But yeah, it was really good~
After the show, we were standing outside waiting for the bus. Roets saw someone he recognized from some movie or something, I dunno and he was all: :O!!! *points* He was really excited about it... it was scary. XD
The bus ride home took FOREVER. It took us an hour and a half just to get from theater district to the highway. ><; That's what happens when you get stuck in traffic during rush hour plus construction. On the way home, we sang along to the radion some more. Same songs over and over again though. The guys only had a few CDs on them. XD It was fun though~
I got home, got changed, and headed off to dance. It was actually fun tonight. And it flew. Adrianna called me Kellie again. XD; Oh, and we got our costumes. They're brown one-pieces and have a halter top. And they're sparkly and have sequins on them. They're pretty. <3
And now I am exhausted, yet very awake. o.o
