This is Halloween~
Why is it that whenever you have a major paper/project due the next day, your computer and/or printer decide to just not work? Well yesterday while I was working on my poetry portfolio (for those of you I haven't told about it... I had to write twenty poems about my life for it), right when I got them all typed up I started working on the table of contents. Okay... so I went searching through all my saved poems so I could see what I titled them all. Turns out, about eight of my poems went missing. o_o;; It was around 11:30... so I started freaking out. I looked in pretty much every folder on my computer before I found where they were hiding. Somehow, they ended up in the folder of pictures of my room. How? I have no clue. O_o; It was really odd since only some of the poems went there... the others went where they were supposed to.
So I finished all that up, thinking everything was going to run smoothly the rest of the way. Boy was I wrong. <<;; I go downstairs at around 12 to print it all out, and all is well for about half the project. Then the printer ran out of paper. No big deal... I put more in. Then it just decided it didn't want to print anymore. O_o;; It was being sent to the printer... but then nothing would happen. So stupid, stupid, stupid me hits the print button many... many more times. Then my dad woke up and tried to help me. We eventually decided to reboot my laptop and the printer. As soon as my laptop turned back on, voila... it started printing... and printing... and printing. o_o; And of course the poem this happened during was a picture poem so it wasted a crapload of ink. ><; By the time I got back upstairs it was close to 1...
Then I had more homework to do... fun, fun. I finished it all around 2:15. I ended up getting like, four hours of sleep... which is bad normally, but being sick and gettingfour hours of sleep is just... not good. ><;;
Okay, so today's Halloween. <3 At shcool a bunch of people were dressed up either due to the dress up a senior thing, or just for fun. I wish I dressed up... kinda. I should have worn the pirate costume I wore last year. <3 But the eyepatch would have made it really hard to see... XD Instead I just wore my Nightmare Before Christmas sweatshirt. <3<3 A lot of people liked it apparently because I had random people complimenting me on it. o_o;
I called in sick to work today... I didn't feel up to dealing with annoying shoppers when I don't feel well. ><; I hate missing school though, so I did go there. I felt fine for the most part... just some hot flashes and a sore throat. My headache's mostly gone and so is my fever. By tomorrow I should be healthy again. ^^
Kellie failed at getting me lots of candy. ;_; She got me a little bit... but not as much as I had hoped. We still have a lot left over from the lack of kids that came to my house. Lazy-ass kids can't take a few extra steps down a dead end street. Ah well, more candy for me~
And this internet connection is really pissing me off. It cuts out all the time now... more than the old one. ><; And the last time it happened, I rebooted my computer to get it to work again, and now all the memory from firefox, save passwords for log-ins, are gone... bookmarks and all. O_o;; *sigh*
