Orientations at Big Y was this morning. <3 I was the only one there today, so it felt kind of awkward for me. Most of it was done a computer... and even though I'm always online, this computer made my eyes hurt. ><; Anyways, I got my schedule for next week. I start Monday, and since it's a holiday I get pay and a half. =D Money <3<3<3
My mom was in a really pissy mood today... I hate it when she gets like that. In the car between church and Domino's Pizza Kellie and I were singing along to the radio like we always do... and for some reason she got really annoyed at that. O_o; It's not like it was even country music that we were singing to, so I dunno why she got so upset. We weren't even trying to be obnoxious this time. <<; And then she had some major road rage issues... she kept yelling at this dude in front of us who was going the speed limit of 40mph... downhill... in the pouring rain. <<; I knew I should have driven...
Anyways, after that I took Kellie to see Corpse Bride. <3 I was originally planning on going to the 9:10 show, but my dad insisted we could make it to the 6:50 one... church ended at 5:45... by the time we got the pizza, ate it, decided we were going to go to the earlier show, and got in the car it was 6:25... and it takes 20 minutes to get to Berlin on a good day. Yeah, well did I mention the pouring rain? People don't know how to drive in the rain, honestly... there was a dude in front of me going 30 on the Pike. ><;; NOBODY drives 30 on the Pike... ever. And of course I couldn't pass him out since I had no clue how far away from the street we needed to get to we were. Then in the parking lot the cars in the road just randomly stopped. We had like, 2 minutes until the movie at this point. By the time we got tickets, popcorn and our blue Icee's, it was exactly 6:50. When we got into the theater we saw ONE preview and then it started. See, for most people that'd be okay... but not for us. I'm used to getting to the theater at least a half hour before they even let you in to the actual theater. So barely making it to the start of the movie was really different for us. The movie was awesome, by the way. <3
And I think I may have forgotten to mention this, but I found out what my GPA now is. In order to be in the NHS you need a 3.5... well, mine's a 3.47. <<;; If I get kicked out because of a .03 I'm gonna be pissed. And my rank is now 34... I dropped five places... and I'm not in the top 10% anymore. ;_; Hopefully doing my homework for a change will bring my grades up, along with my GPA and rank.
And now I'm gonna go cross-stitch something because I'm bored and I just found my book of Christmas patterns. Yeah, I know it's October... but by the time I finish one, it'll be March... XD
