(no subject)
No homework to do during my break today, so I got given laptop privileges from Matt! :)
School so far has been really great. It's nice having Matt here all the time, and it's really helping my grades, homework is getting done on time, and my mood overall is a lot better. I think I'm actually going to get some pretty decent grades this time around. So far I'm getting an A in Spanish, A in logic, probably around a B-ish in Japanese, after the test I got back today probably a B+ in ancient Greek philosophy, and miraculously thanks to an amazing curve, a B in stats. I think anyway. I got a 75 on the test, but he mentioned something about curving it more, so I dunno. Still says a 75 online. But I'll take that. I was expecting closer to a 40 on the test. XD
Yesterday I went with Matt and my dad to pick pumpkins because I really wanted to. And the place is only open for it on Saturdays and Sundays... and well, I work weekends, so I was getting really worried I wouldn't get to this year. But my sister had her confirmation yesterday afternoon (which I got to buy some new jewelry for and really made me want to starting wearing it a lot more often), so I had to take the day off for it. So we got to go pick pumpkins in the morning! :) It was a lot of fun. We'll be carving them on Wednesday. I can't wait.
Other than that, not much to report. Just been spending all my time with Matt which is nice. But the semester is now halfway over. :( We've pretty much been just playing games and watching tv when we don't have tons of work to do. Lots of Monkey Island, which is amazing because it's my favorite game series ever. So glad they finally revived it and I got to play through all the old ones with Matt and experience the new ones for the first time with him as well. Puzzle-solving is a lot more fun when you get to try to figure things out with someone else. But now we've caught up with the series... and have to wait for the 4th chapter to come out. Hopefully soon. We only caught up the other day, and I miss it already. :(
