Rising Star
So today at work I got told I got nominated and selected to be the "Rising Star" for December. I thought that was really nice. No idea what it actually means, but it sure sounds nice. XD I apparently get some sort of pin to wear on my work apron thing and my picture on the wall. Having my picture be on the wall of the front end of the store is going to be absolutely horrifying. x_x But it was nice to be recognized for something good I did. Even though I didn't exactly do much. Just signing people up for this program that supports local schools like I was told to do. Clearly I was the only one doing it though. XD
And then at the end of my shift today, I had to make an announcement over the loudspeaker, omg. Apparently they wanted everyone on the front end to make an announcement for whatever reason. It was so scary, ugh. I hate talking on the phone, except to Matt XD, and I hate public speaking, so combining the two? Eww. I survived it, but it was such a cruel thing for them to make us do. Never again, I hope. ._.
