Whoops... this entry was actually typed up on Monday, I just never entered it. XD
Pretend this was written on Monday, April 16. XD The title was originally something along the lines of "Rain, Rain, Go Away. Now." or something since I was sick of rain. I'm too lazy to fix this entry so it applies to today though. I'll update again tomorrow or something for real. Anyway:
Okay... so it isn't even raining much right now, but it was. And it's supposed to rain again tomorrow. Ugh. I want warm, sunshiney weather. Not tons and tons of cold rain...
Yesterday morning Kellie and I went to church. I would have gone on Saturday with the rest of my family, but I was still at Danielle's at 5:00, so I couldn't go. The church was pretty much empty. I guess everyone went Saturday night due to the weather.
It POURED yesterday. It was awful. I had to go to work at 4:30, and when I got there, I found the store was pretty much empty. The front end was definitely over-staffed for a day like yesterday. Most of us just ended up standing there talking because there were barely any customers at all.
A lot of people were allowed to leave early, but no one said anything to me about it. Being me, I didn't bring it up either. And besides, I needed the money anyway. Time and a half on Sundays! <3 I got my break around 7:00. After that, the store was even more dead than it was before. Around 7:40-ish, Steve (the person in charge of the front end last night) yelled over to Tyrone to pick up the phone. Steve then asked him to ask me if I wanted to leave early. Why he didn't just ask me in person is beyond me. I said I wouldn't mind, assuming he wanted me to leave at 8:30 since that would have marked a four-hour shift since I had already had my break and all. You're only supposed to get a break when you work more than four hours. Anyway, then he told me shut off my light and clean up. o.o;; I worked three and a quarter hours yesterday... with a paid break. XD; Oh well~
It was still raining really hard when I got home. My house is situated in a little valley between two hills. Rain in that situation is not good. ><; Our basement always starts to flood. So last night we weren't allowed to use any water... which also meant no flushing the toilets. x_x I also needed to do laundry, since I hadn't in a few weeks. So much for that.
