Recap of the past... week. XD;
February first was the Little Big Town and Sugarland concert. OMG, it was so much fun. <3 I left my dorm around 9:30 in the morning, went home to get some toll money, got gas, and then hit the highway. I was so anxious that morning. This was the farthest distance I've ever had to drive by myself, so I was so scared of getting lost. I did manage to get all the way to Bridgewater, Massachusetts without getting lost at all though! <3
I met up with Danielle and then we went to her dorm so she could grab some stuff. I got to meet a couple of her friends... briefly. Most of them were in classes though, so I didn't get to meet them. Then we left for Connecticut. On the ride home, we were talking about school and stuff and we seemed to have been on I495 for a -very- long time. Danielle knows the way back like the back of her hand... so all of a sudden we were confused. She said we should see a sign that said "Mass Pike" on it... and we hadn't seen it yet. She grabs the directions and checks the exit number. It was something like 21. We were at exit... like, 32 and getting higher. Whoops. XD; So we had to backtrack about 11 exits. More than that, actually, as there were some exits with As, Bs, and Cs. We so fail... XD
Anyway, we finally made it to the Mass Pike. We then stopped to eat since we were starving, and headed back home. Danielle then picked me up at my house around 6:00 to head for the Oakdale Chevy Theater. We bought some souvenirs and then headed to our seats.We had pretty good ones, actually. We were in the upper level and only in the second row up there. And we were pretty close to center, so we had a good view. The concert itself was pretty awesome. I had a lot of fun! Little Big Town and Sugarland are amazing... but I know none of you, save Lexy, have probably ever heard of either of them. XD; I do have some pictures, and I'll post them up once I upload them~
The rest of my week was pretty boring. Friday I worked. And it snowed, eww. <<; At work I was just wearing a short-sleeved shirt, so I had to go out into the snow after work at like 9pm and clean all the snow off my car dressed like that. Actually, I think it was pretty funny... albeit cold. XD;
Saturday I was off from work, so I took my sister to the mall. We had some gift cards left from Christmas and we decided to use them up. We didn't buy much though. We spent most of our time there in the Disney Store. XD;
Sunday I worked. It was Superbowl Sunday... so the store was really busy. I was only supposed to work from 11:30-4:00, but my supervisor asked if I wanted to work longer. <<; Being me, I said yes... but I said I'd only work another hour and no more than that. I don't see why she needed me to stay though... the store quieted down around 3:30 anyway. Oh well, at least Sundays are time and a half pay. <3 After work, I went home and watched the Superbowl with my sister. My dad was happy that the Colts won~
Monday morning, I was packing up to head back to school. It was about 10:20 and I had to be at my class at 11:00. My dad calls then... as I'm trying to pack quickly... to ask me to go downstairs and find the serial number and the model number of the drier. Apparently they broke it somehow. <<; I was in such a rush though, so his call didn't help at all. I did manage to get back to school on time and everything... but I did forget my straightener at home. So I had to go home and pick it up later on.
Yesterday I had my 8am bio lab. And I definitely almost slept through it. ><; I set my phone alarm for 6am and TV alarm for 6:30. Both woke me up... but I fell asleep again after both of them. My sister called me just after 7... but I slept right through her call. Luckily I did end up waking up around 7:20, which gave me enough time to get ready and get to class. I'm so afraid that I really will sleep through it at some point though.
Finally on today. XD In PE today we started the physical fitness tests. Ugh. Today the girls either had to run a mile and a half or walk a mile. So obviously I opted to walk the mile. I can't run that much... really I can't. ><; Walking the mile wasn't hard at all. I was the second girl that walked it to actually finish. Most everyone else took their sweet time and walked leisurely though. <<; I actually put effort in and tried to get the best time I could. I ended up finishing it in 15:36... which ended up having a rating of "fair". Sounds about right for me though~
Anyway... that was a long entry. I really need to start updating this more often so I don't have posts like this one. XD
