NCIS: LA "Betrayal"

Did anyone watch last Tuesday's episode of NCIS: LA? If not you missed out. OMG!!!

Watching "Betrayal" was like a roller coaster ride. Sam is an important part of the show and therefore I thought he was safe from danger. I don't think him or called are ever going to be killed off the show. But watching this episode Sam's life was in danger not once but twice O_o

Sam is doing undercover work in Sudan. He starts a romance with his targets sister, Jada. Sam's love for Jada was convincing. I think he really fell in love with her for a while and then he remembered the mission. He loved her. I truly believed that and LL Cool J's performance was amazing.

Callen was truly heartbreaking. The fear that was on his face when he went to identify the body in the morgue thinking that it was Sam. This whole episode just further convinced me that Callen is in love with Sam. It's unrequited at the moment. His feelings for Sam were written on his face and shown in his body language. After watching this episode you can't convince me otherwise.

When Sam told Jada the truth in the airport hanger, my heart went out to her. I can't even imagine the pain she must be feeling or how horrible Sam must feel for having to betray her like that. The things a human being is capable of doing for the "greater good" is unfathomable. Sam and Jada's goodbye was so heart wrenching.

It's about time they stepped away from figuring out wtf happened to in Callen's past and developed the other main characters. I finally learned that Sam has a wife and child. I've been watching this show from the beginning and somehow missed Sam mentioning that he has a wife and kid at home. It sucks that they didn't show their faces though. At least the writers are finally developing Sam's character. I hope they continue to.

The fact that he has a wife makes him falling in love with Jada even more of a betrayal. If he didn't have a wife and child he would have found a way to make it work with Jada.

SIDEBAR: why is it that there's always a leak in these shows? It's either a leak, mole, or someone corrupt. If I believed the government operated how they are portrayed on tv I would think everyone's a leak.
