Haven't updating about anything interesting lately, so here goes.
~ Drafted M:tG (Kamigawa) on Friday. It sucked balls cause I drafted Blue/Black, which is what I wanted to draft before it even started, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I got no Rends, only 1 Cutthroat, 2 Pull Unders (which really helped), and only 1 Villainous Ogre, so my Black portion of the deck wasn't too good. I had some really good blue cards though, like Hinder, 2 Consuming Vortexes, 2 Hisoka's Defiance (I think that's what it's called, 1B to counter target Spirit/Arcane spell), Teller of Tales, and 2 Mystic Restraints. The key card of my deck was Long-Forgotten Gohei, though. That card fucking rocks in draft. It was my first pack, first pick card. I went 1-2-1, which is not good.
~ Went to the Mall yesterday. Got third place in the Initial D tourney (10 dollars, woohoo) and then proceeded to see all the Cinci people. They are awesome. Played like 2 games of DDR yesterday, no spectacular scores or anything. I did get 15 on Kakumei Oni and 11 on Ecstasy Remix on hidden flat shuffle reverse, so that was cool. I got headphones and my money back from Steve, which was a fast repayment.
~ Went to Raeven's hoose right after the mall. I went in Brandon's car with Xavier, but right when we left the mall, his battery died. Brandon called his dad, but luckily he wasn't pissed off about it. We ran to Raeven's hoose, which took like 20 minutes. We stepped in a pile of mud. That sucks so much ass it's retarded. When we got there, Andaru was telling GFSs that made no sense to everyone. Everyone then played Taboo and had a great time, as always. I left with my brother and Henry On at 11:30.
~ Did some of my history project. You have to be in the shoes of an immigrant who is immigrating to Ellis Island. You have to write a diary about it. I don't really like it, but oh well. I did 1/5 of it today, and it's due Nov. 1st. It's not too long, though.
