It has become clear to me that I have deviated from my original purpose. I'm no longer a perfect copy. I believe I'm beginning to understand what my original self expects, so... these differences between us, this separate self I've allowed to develop... I need to erase it.

*Copy X looks a little surprised by the question.* I was created to be that way. If I can fix myself so that I'm indistinguishable from my original, then I'm less likely to be discovered as a fake.

More than that, though... I want to be someone that X can be proud to call his copy. The way things stand now, I believe he must be ashamed of me. He's too kind to say it to my face, but... I suppose it must be difficult for you to understand. You want to destroy your original, don't you?

I don't know anything about Mega Man, but... I want to make X happy. The way I am now... it doesn't give him anything to smile about. If I can't live in a way that will please my creator, then I intend to live in a way that will please him. Living for myself is not something I have the right to do.

*Okay that has Copy X's attention. He sits on one of the repair tables, motioning for emobutt to do likewise.* Absolutely not. I've yet to meet this Wily's other creations, but I can tell you now that you possess strength they do not.

I didn't build this place. I simply found it. Before I came here... I was the ruler of Neo Arcadia. My job was to create a paradise for the humans, and ensure nothing disturbed the peace. I won't bore you with the circumstances, but in order to accomplish this, I began killing reploids.

*He nods.* You have the courage to look a human in the eye and tell him he doesn't deserve your respect. You have the heart to look beyond your intended purpose and extend a hand to your original. And you... being what you are, you are not alone. You have someone worth living for.

*Copy X is kinda realizing that being motivational and telling somebody you're more or less attemping genocide in the same breath probably doesn't work too well. He averts his gaze awkwardly.* Take it as you will, but... I believe you are far more valuable than your creator realizes.
