oh boy!

So I think I suffered my first panic attack yesterday in Russia in War and Peace. I had two classes before then which went fine, then I was doing French for a while outside, and was fine then as well. Then I went into my Russia class. We were watching part of a film on Stalin before lecture and I was thinking, "oh neat, this should be interesting." But once the lecture started my head started feeling weird, like my brain was sloshing around, almost like before you faint or when you get the spins the morning after a night of heavy drinking. Because I haven't had any alcohol in a while I thought I was going to faint which led to visualizations of waking up on the classroom floor, being woken by my professor, being embarrassed and not knowing where I was or what I was doing. Then I got fidgety and couldn't concentrate. I took my pulse a few times and it would always be really slow and then rapidly speed up. I never fainted, so I was really freaked out for the forty or so minutes it lasted. I hope that never happens again. It was weird.
