Job front: I have an interview for a graphic design position tomorrow morning, so that is looking positive.

Now onto the interesting point of the post: Bones! I just finished 1x15 and it felt like a good point to stop and post some of my thoughts/amusing quotes I've enjoyed thus far.

Largely from 1x05 'A Boy in a Bush' to 1x15 'Two Bodies in the Lab'

GOODMAN: You are the best of us, Miss Montenegro. You discern humanity in the wreck of a ruined human body. You give victims back their faces, their identities. You remind us all of why we're here in the first place - because we treasure human life.
ANGELA: *tears up, hugs Goodman*
GOODMAN: Oh, for God's sake.
BRENNAN: What happened?
ZACH: Apparently all Angela needed was to hear her job description in a deep African-American tone.

HODGINS: Your robot reminds me of you. You tell it to turn, it stops; you ask it to stop, it turns. You tell it to take out the garbage, it watches re-runs of "Firefly".

ANGELA: Maybe you guys could both get dressed?
ME: No, keep Hodgins naked in a towel! Where’s your holiday spirit NOW?

BOOTH: Bones! It’s after midnight! Christmas Eve day! Both an eve and a day. It's a Christmas miracle! \o/
BRENNAN: Still enjoying your medication, I see.

*montage of family members coming to visit*
ME: Aww, Booth’s ickle kid. And look, ZZ Top is Angela’s dad!

BRENNAN: *blackmails Booth into driving the rental sports car*
BOOTH: *sulks*
BRENNAN: *smirks*

BRENNAN: Booth, are you a nerd?
BOOTH: First of all, you mean geek-
ME: :D

HODGINS: I called shotgun. What does it mean to society when niceties are no longer observed?

BRENNAN: Let’s just pretend we’re Booth, okay? (To think up a situation of how someone was killed.)
HODGINS: Ooh, let me try! (tosses things in the air, talking fast while making hand gestures)
ANGELA: *giggles*
ME: *loves them all hardcore*

There was something terribly juvenile yet precious about the boys getting that excited about putting that frozen pig in the wood chipper.

'Two Bodies in the Lab' was just... a wonderful episode. I adored the co-dependency of Booth and Brennan, from his over-protectiveness coupled with blatant jealously, to the fantastic scene at her house bonding over jazz and dancing, to Booth finally saving Brennan and her being venerable. Add to that the great guest performances from Adam Baldwin and the creepy dude with the keys, Hodgins being awesome, and Angela hitting on Baldwin's character? I was glued to my screen.

Now to end with my favorite quote from the episode.

BOOTH: Eh! *straining with his wounds*
HODGINS: *seriously* Maybe you shouldn’t have had all that pudding.

Even if you hadn't told me, katzell, I could have easily been able to tell Hodgins was you favorite. :)

tv:bones, i watch too much television, irl:work
