I'm thinking there's potential for a great deal of magickal inspiration in surropunding my environs w/ the wacky creations of Jim Henson's mind. And just the idea of carrying around a bright, shaggy muppet's head...FUN.
My father has taken it upon himself to prune the front yard tree today. We discover it is sick. A lot of pruning was done. I've only done a little examining of the wood, but it looks like what we suspected for years was right. After a little online research I'm thinking it may be wetwood. Can be a problem for a wide variety of trees...It makes me wonder about what percentage of trees in general these days may be diseased or unhealthy in some way or another...moon's in gemini today right? hmmm...
I've kinda been less inclined to go to Belize in october...but...today, I'm starting to get more excited about the prospects, less concerned about possible risks...when you think about how life should properly be lived...or the way I think about it anyhoo, I feel like this is something not to be passed up. Vancouver,BC in 2 weeks. And Belize a month later. Would be leaving October 9th. 9ine IS my number, folks...
AND, the disenchantment of my work is slowly starting to creep in on me a bit. Intent on staying positive, though. Although I did beat big, bad, Mojica in tips on a saturday the other week. Oh boy did I ever enjoy rubbing that in his face. He's that type that can somehow easily ring a $25 tip out of a black family w/ a $40 check. I think I'm started to embody the key to such tips a little more since coming back, though.
I'm strongly considering becoming a certified trainer, MOSTLY just to ease the harm of having the anal, obnoxious bitch everyone hates just turned trainer. Plus extra money, and I think I'd actually make a good trainer, making sure to emphasize short-cuts and teamwork, which the current team is rather sorely lacking in... Reason 3: the job becomes a little less monotonous this way. Last but not least, w/ a trainee at your side, it can be like having a little helper when busy.
