So Jerry and I went to The Church last night with Krystal. Walked around, danced, drank, talked with friends. What was really weird is Krystal and I ran into this guy Joel we went to high school with. It was nice to see one of our old pals, most people we went to school with droppped of the face of the earth, or are married with kids etc. I worked 8-4 slighty tired due to my 2am bedtime, but it was all good i spent a couple hours helping the GM department. After work Jerry and I went to Joe Crab Shack for Dinner. Then we went to World Market and got some incense, windchimes for the porch, and a couple other odd and ends. We checked out that new store Conns as well, it wasnt too bad, just really small. We looked around Movie trading company for a while, but Jerry could find anything he wanted. Afterward we went to Frys and got Dark City on DVD for $9.99. I love that movie, it probably the first science fiction film i enjoyed independant of my dads persausion. The guy who Directed it is actually the one who made the new I, Robot movie which is about to be released. Seeing how he can do the genre justice without getting caught up in too many special effects. About the only thing that disapoints me aobut the I, Robot film so far is Will Smith being the lead. I just don't think he's the right man for the role. I think the part requires someone more dramatic, and less jokey. Oh yes today i also picked up and hanging basket of Ivy to hang outside, it looks really nice. I'm just trying to fix up the damn patio, we havent done anything with it the entire time we have lived here. it was completely bare, very plain and boring. i had some plants out there last summer, two small potted ones. They died though because the pation doesnt get enough sun, so i figured the Ivy is more suitable.
