Here's a couple pictures of the animals I live with, not counting spiders, centipedes, wasps, and lizards.  I have two fabulous goldfish and three cats (with a lot of problems).  I have not pictures of the outdoor cat, our White Cat, but enjoy the black-furred indoor ones.

I mentioned sun-baked goldfish:

Franz is the one on the far left, Ferdinand is the more orange one in the middle of the tank.

And from the other side:

Franz is hogging the spotlight, there.

And my two cats, Caesar and Ditto, who give me endless joy and frustration, are featured below.  They assume some terribly picturesque positions.  Caesar is about 10 years old now, and Ditto is 7.  I've figured out that if you think of Caesar as a grumpy old man (set in his ways and finicky about his habits) and think of Ditto as a vacant-eyed four-year-old little boy (who likes to play and bully and crash next to his mommy when he's tired), then everything that they do makes sense.

Often, they sit symmetrically.  That's Caesar on the left, Ditto on the right:

Here they are, soaking up the sun like NORMAL cats.  I snapped a picture because their "normal cat" moments are few and far between:

Frankly, I think Caesar is the most perfectly gorgeous cat I've ever seen.  He's still evil, though.  Here they are conked out together like they love each other.  It's a scam, I tell you:

And here was a fantastic Christmas scene from a year ago.  It was common knowledge that they liked to nest in the gold garlands we use on the tree every year, but this pose was simply Adorable with an obnoxiously capitalized A:

Oh, and Ditto has a habit of licking off all his hair.  (He is a cat with many problems.)  That's why his haunches look so patchy.

Here is one of Caesar, on top of the couch, belly up and twisted in a way that couldn't possibly be comfortable:

And lastly is the pair of them.  Ditto, being the numbskull little kid that he is, likes to copy Caesar.  A lot.  Here is a classic example.  Enjoy my Copy Cats:

I know everyone has stories about their pets.  It's fabulous conversation fodder in polite company.  And most people have pictures that they think are extremely charming, and they think their pets are cooler or cuter or quirkier than everyone else's, but I couldn't resist.  You don't have to go look at them if you don't want to.  But please do!  I love sharing them, the dumb little fuzzballs.
