some good things finally happened!
Well my dad brought me his truck to drive until they fix up a Honda Accord that my grandpa is giving me. It is a stick shift so I will have to polish my skillz while it's being cleaned up. My Skylark is going to have to be towed from Boone to Burlington to be worked on because the engine (which is under a *shitty* warranty) needs to be looked into. It's leaking a lot of oil (but it still runs) but they don't know where from or why.
Dustin and I went out to our new apt on Sunday and vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned the shit out of that place :) Mom and dad brought us a new set of pots and pans and promised to give us their living room set. We will be moving on Saturday! It's only $390 a month for two BR, one bath w/water and trash included. All we have to pay is the power bill. It also has a new window A/C unit. It's really nice for the price! I've packed up my most of my clothes and little junk.
Tonight I'm going to Burlington because I have an OB-GYN appointment in the morning. I haven't had one in a year and a half and I'm really nervous. I really hope the cancer hasn't resurfaced again because I don't want to have that surgery again :( Mom is paying for my trip to the dr because my insurance doesn't cover female problems, the only ones I'm worried about! Hopefully doc will give me a couple of months of free birth control because I need it so bad!
I will also be visiting my friends and family while in Btown. Jennifer called me yesterday to inform me that she had just bought her wedding dress! Unfortunately, I won't get to see it, nor be her Maid of Honor because she isn't having any attendants (bridesmaids and groomsmen) to save money. The wedding date is 12/31/05 at a church in Burlington. I'm so happy for her :) BUT I WANTED TO BE IN HER WEDDING. At least I'll get to sit on the front row :)
