so i think one of my favorite parts of this year versus any other year is the amount of concerts i went to. i saw (in chronological order): metro station, tim reynolds, ratatat, rachael yamagata and greg laswel, the killers and tonight, kings of leon (and third eye blind is in 3 weeks). musically i'd say rachael yamagata was my favorite because i have been dying to see her and absolutely in love and enchanted by her for 6 years now and we were so close to the stage and it was lovely and surreal. overall though i think the killers was my favorite concert just because i could see (unlike tonight) and new more of the songs and it was a mix of new excitement and nostalgia and we wore awesome shirts and the venue was fabulous (except the getting out of the parking lot part) but it's hard because tonight was also an AMAZING concert. god kings of leon = INCREDIBLE. sara, claire, gina, ada and i danced all night and it was wonderful.
