hey, superb bowel weekend! i had superb bowels for the entire weekend, it was quite a feat.
thursday night i went to a rock show. my friend's band played their first show ever (they are called cellar seas), and it was good. very good for a first show. kinda of twangy americana rock but not quite alt-country. catchy songs. a bunch of the other good bands played too, and it was all free, the best price for a show.
and then friday nothing happened other than a lunch buffet of cheap pizza. and walking the dog in the rain. and eating homemade mexican.
saturday was house work and thrift stores and lunch at waffle house. i got a carolina hurricanes bobblehead (scott walker) and a couple of t-shirts. chelsea bought out the entire downtown goodwill. and yeah.
sunday we took bratty dog to the dog park for romping, and also went to lowes where chelsea's girl scouts were selling cookies with their moms. we bought a box of girl scout cookies, and i don't mean a single box of cookies bot a box of boxes of cookies. that's a lot of cookies. then we watched football and one of the teams won and the other one lost, which was very exciting for some fans and heartbreaking for others. such is life. i watched some puppy bowl too, and like always it was better than the actual football game.
