hey, everyone wish chelsea a happy birthday! she turns the big 3-0 today!!!
my mom and bryan came down to our house for the weekend. they got in late friday. bryan was down for a continuing education class, harriett came just for shits and giggles.
saturday bryan went off to class, and the rest of us ran around most of the morning. waffle house, a couple of yard sales, thrift stores, trader joes and sams club. hadn't been to one of those bulk joints like sams club in ages, we stocked up on all the staples - giant bag of dog food, giant tub of cat litter, 4 bazillion rolls of toilet paper, etc.
saturday night chelsea went off to some fancy ball for her work (she works at the fancy balls company obviously), and while she was there she bought me some carolina basketball tickets! that's a good wife for ya. me and the fam went out to dinner at carabas and stuffed ourselves with tasty chain italian food. i then forced them to watch "anchorman" and i laughed and laughed.
sunday we had some cracker barrel for breakfast, and then harriett and bryan took off back to the mountains. spent the rest of the day doing chores around the house, buying doors at lowes, watching the final A's game and mowing a little bit.
busy but fairly fun weekend. next weekend we go to charlotte to buy cheap homegoods at ikea and go to the nc zoo!
