I was sooooooo miserable about not being able to make it down to see everyone! I was really looking forward to it! The roads are so bad, though, I'm sure you all realize it would be downright suicidal to try making a trip that far at this point.
Is it just me, or does it seem like snow removal has gone WAY downhill in the past couple of years?! Frankly, it sucks monkey snot! Not only do they not plow anywhere near the pavement anymore, but it's like some jerk told them that the roads are getting too much sodium, probably just because they're American, so it's like they're being stingy with the salt to the point where the roads are actually going to have a heart attack from withdrawal one of these days, I kid you not!
And where exactly is all that lovely global warming they keep teasing us with?! Would it be asking too much to send just a little of it to northern Minnesota, just once in awhile?!
Meg, I seriously wish you were here sometimes, to help me give these folks a little serious hell like in the good old days! :-)
