The door suddenly opened, revealing... a red haired man, holding what looked like a bent up golf club.

He sighed. "False alarm, Jess. It's not a monster, it's just Rock."

"Oh..." And there's Jess, peering around the guy at Rock. She waves at Rock a little.

"Hey."

Rock tumbled out in, quite normal for him by now, confusion. "...hello?" He blinked up at the man.

Videoman sighed. "It's me, Rock. Videoman. I'm in disguise, yannow?"

Jess moves to help Rock now, not saying anything since Videoman can explain if he has to.

"Oooooh." He grinned sheepishly. "That's a really good disguise." He thanks Jess before reaching to mess up her hair. "A monster, huh?"

Videoman snickered. "It's just a Copyroid, but thanks."

"Augh!" She'll swat at Rock's hands and huff angrily. "And I didn't say 'monster'! Videoman's being a jerk, as usual."

He snickered, holding up his hands in mock surrender.

"Um, what's that like? Can you tell you're in a robot?" This demands pokings, you know.

Videoman sighed, as he sidestepped a poke. "Well, the way you freaked out, it might as well have said so."

"... And not really, Rock. It's like this is my body... it has to do with one I control it tho. Is complicated."

"Well that's because you didn't say anyone would be coming over!" Jess retored, scowling at Videoman, before she started to snicker at the poking.

"Lots of things are complicated. It's neat." Hm, poking adverted. He'd have to wait for a distraction and try again later.

"Um, heh. I kinda maybe sorta didn't say I was? But, um! Why is the portal in the closet in the first place?"

"Because that way, no one who comes over can see it," Videoman said, plopping down on the couch. "So, what brings you buy, shortstuff?"

Jess made a meh sound at that, and moved to head to the kitchen. "Either of you want anything, like a drink or something?"

"Yeah, well....okay that makes some sense, but you could've said something about it." Rock only pouted a second before hopping on the couch himself. "Soda, please?"

"Do I need any better reason then to pull you two away from boring every day life?"

"Be... Soda for me too, Jess," Videoman said, correcting himself quickly.

He snickered. "Well, I like to think I'm not boring, but thanks anyway."
