So last night around 7:30 I was on call and Barry sent me to get a body from St. Joseph's hospital because the 3rd party company who was supposed to do it was tied up with getting another body for us. Katie and I saddled up and headed for Tampa. We got off the interstate and headed down MLK Blvd. and realized we were in ghetto land and me being the person who 2nd guesses themselves all the time whn I'm driving in an area i'm unfarmilliar with, we turned around and headed the other way. Then b4 I knew it, we were in Brandon on the same road but going the wrong way, so we turned around again and headed back the opposite way which was the tight way to being with. After being lost for a good 45 minutes, we finally got to the hospital and rendezvoused with security. Now Barry had mentioned something about a child the had to be brought back to All Children's for an autopsy or something so I was already upset that I was going to dealing with a dead child. Those always break my heart. When I got to the morgue, I was looking all around the sea of dead people for a child but to no avail. Come to find out, the other call we got earlier was the child that our 3rd party company was hadling so then everything made sense and I was picking up a 75 year old man instead. That made me feel a little better.
However I didn't realize that while I was there, my aunt and uncle were being treated there for a crash they were in on tuesday and I didn't even know they were in a crash or there at the hospital till this morning. They are both ok and my aunt should go home tomorrow or saturday but my uncle is in ICU because he had a lot more injuries.
