It's only Wednesday. I woke up this morning and really thought it was Saturday. It took me a few minutes to figure out what day it was. I have been sitting at my desk since Thursday and have yet to actually teach a class. I'm sure you think that means I should blog more then.

Anyway, the rest of the weekend:
Sunday was Easter and Mark and I actually went to church. Unfortunately for us, 99% of it was in Japanese. Ick. It's so hard to try to say the parts of the mass in English when everyone around you is speaking Japanese. There were a few foreigners there, but not many.

We edged our way out the back during the closing song so that we could get out of the parking lot and on to our next function. Thus, skipping the Easter pot-luck that was set up outside in the gravel. Sorry. We drove over to the International Center and ate Brazilian food at a fund raiser for a guy that needs a heart transplant and has to go to California to get it. They need soooo much money. Anyway, the food was great and then there was a Samba band. When Mark and I walked in to watch, the band leader said into the microphone, "ah, Megan sensei" Ahh! Then he talked to me from the stage. He is the father of Seiko, one of my favorite students ever, who graduated two Marches ago. She showed up later on, so it was nice to see her.

Around 1, Sarah and I decided we wanted to onsen because it was so nice out, so I drove Thilmin home, and then dropped off Mark and then Sarah and I fought Sunday afternoon traffic all they way to Yamanashi City to go to the onsen. Of course, it started to get cloudy by the time we got there, but we both got a bit of sun I think. On the way home I decided to visit Courtney instead of going to the gym and ended up getting home around 10. And that was Sunday. Definitely not my day of rest.

The new school year is going well, I'm feeling more rapport with my teachers, so that's nice. Unfortunately, my butt hurts from sitting at my desk chair all day. I'm running out of things I can amuse myself with. Anyway, surely I'll teach a class tomorrow!
