Hooray for Yamanashi Day!

It was a beautiful three day weekend and I had a lot of fun. Friday night I stayed home printing out postcards and watching a movie. Then Saturday I worked during the day and then went to Pub Quiz in Otsuki. Mark, Julie, Matt, Paul and I caught the train and got there early, so we ate some Italian and waited. Jonny and Morgan led a lovely pub quiz, with no regard to the constant heckling they got from the crowd. After, a group of about 12 of us jumped on the train and went into Tokyo. We partied on the train and managed to have our own car for most of the trip. Then we switched to the Subway and went to Roppongi. We had to wait for some other people for quite awhile and then around 12:30 (after a doner kebab, we went to Muse, a club past Roppongi Hills). It was free for women and 2000yen for men. Perfect! And it wasn't a bad club, relatively big, compared to other Tokyo clubs. It also had a pretty good mix of people. We danced until dawn-ish, 5am, when the club closed. I caught the 7am bus back to Yamanashi and eventually got to sleep around 11am at my house. Absolutely exhausted. Pictures on Flickr.

In the evening on Sunday, I went to Amy's. She and Rebecca made a ton of Thai food, and I got to help eat it. We watched V for Vendetta and then I headed back across the valley. On Monday morning (10ish) my phone woke me up, it was Jonny. I ended up picking up Erin and Trevor around noon. We went for Okonomiyaki and then to a sake brewery. But then, of course, I had to go to my lesson. And that was basically the end of my weekend. Lessons sucked, but I need the money for design festa/america. Only three days of work this week. Hooray for Yamanashi Day and Thanksgiving!
