I AM A FRESHMEN NO MORE!!!! :D
...Hey, LJ. Long time, no post. :(
I have been reading and commenting on my flist's post! Just haven't had time for making one myself.
So here you go:
I had a jury, four finals (or three finals and THE THREE HOUR ESSAY EXAM FROM HELL), and a portfolio due this week. All of which I did on my period. Thanks, Uterus.
I'm wasn't very happy with any of them, which is probably worse than doing really really badly on them. Emotionally speaking, that is. I can't stand mediocrity. Especially with my music. >.<
I'm doing my best to let that stuff go, especially since getting through my 11 class semester has been a pretty big accomplishment in itself. But it's been kind of hard. :/
BUT SUMMER IS HERE!!! I'm still looking for a job and I'll miss my out-of-town college friends, but hell I DON'T HAVE TO LIVE IN THE MUSIC BUILDING DUNGEON FOR THREE WHOLE MONTHS. *partypartypartyinmyhead* :D :D :D :D
Yes, three months of my own room (I freaking love my roomie and it's already been demanded by my future suitemates that she comes and lives on the couch of the suite next year, but dammit I like sleeping with no pants on. o.o) and not having to worry if that smell in the shower is pee...
On the note of my suite next year: IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING. Seriously, I have the best roomies ever. Be jealous.
This summer should be great. Two people have asked me if I want to go on beach/lake trips with them, which is all dependent on if and when I'm working, but that should be fun!
Pepper Place opens this Saturday! Hooray for finally being able to cook with fresh veggies again! And even though I didn't get the internship at JVUF this year, I want to sign up to volunteer. Because, as we all should know by now, that place fucking rocks. And I don't think my summer will be complete without coming home with basil stained fingers at least once.
And then there's catching up with high school friends, and seeing some local shows, and maybe even some not local shows (once again, JOB?), and THE SCREENING OF BLOOD INTO WINE THAT MAYNARD JUST ANNOUNCED ON TWITTER THAT'S GOING TO BE AT WORKPLAY JFDSIARNCQWIJS, and all that general merriment.
And! AND! I'm going to go see Chris! Which will be freaking epic!! ^_______________^
I'm excited to meet his friends in person and visit Seattle for the first time. I'm also excited to go cuddle his freaking face off for a couple of weeks. :3
Yay! Now I'm all happy and stuff. I'm gonna go pack and clean some more. <3
