Don't fret, precious, I'm here. Step away from the window. Go back to sleep...

What's this? I'm updating my journal within a week of my last update?

**Life on earth as we know it comes to a catastrophic end**

:D

Anyway, I want to write about yesterday. Not today. All I've done today is daydream through church and visit my g-ma.
So I shall write about yesterday. Starting...nnnnnow:

So I played for yet another wedding...and liked it. (?) Normally I honestly and whole-heartedly hate playing for weddings. Why? Because the people who get married always seem to be getting married for the sake of having a wedding. Like the really stupid lady that my trio from last year (Erika, Rachel, and I) played for with the ridiculously long dress train which she dragged down a spiral staircase in the Harbert Center on her way down the aisle. Three guys had to follow behind her to smooth it out whenever it got caught. And there were SO MANY GUESTS. We had to play Pachabel's Canon like seven times while the party was walking in.
(DEATH TO PACHABEL. DEATH TO PACHABEL AND HIS STUPID CANON.
I DON'T CARE THAT HE'S ALREADY DEAD.)

Anyway, these two looked really happy. I was actually happy that I got to play for them, which should just never happen considering that I'm a violinist and only playing because I want your $100+25 [for the rehearsal]. Musicians are poor people...
I wasn't even mad that we had to play a hymn for like 15 minutes while they prayed.
The groom even came up to the three of us (My trio for this year: Allyson, Rachel, and I) during the rehearsal and said that it was okay if we take our time on stopping, since he knows that we have to find a good place to resolve.

That, my friends, is the way to a musician's heart. <3

After the wedding was done, I drove home, got changed to hang out with Chris, and drove back out to pick my mom up from work (She let me borrow her car for the day). But when she came out she just got in the car and said that we needed to go to a fire station because her left arm had gone numb. So the guy at the fire station checked her out and told us to go to the hospital. It turns out that she's totally fine, but it was really scary to think about my mom possibly having a heart attack. I could tell that she was trying to calm me down since I'd started crying on the way to the ER. The entire ride over there was either silence or my mom making a joke. She'd even said to go home first so I wouldn't be late for my date, that she could drive herself. Obviously, I wasn't going to go hang out and let my mom have a heart attack while she was driving...
Speaking of Chris, he ended up going to the hospital with us. I don't think he actually realized how much it meant that he came and waited with me. My mom even appreciated it alot. (10 mom points for Christopher! :D)
He even parked on the opposite side and walked the entire way. :P (But it meant a long walk back, so it's cool. ^_^)

Oh and FYI, for those of you who know him, Chris now has a livejournal account! celestialorb :)

Hmmm...I'll stop now. :P

Much love.
