RTX Haul, cosplay, and adventure! (Journal memories)
Day before.... :D
My family had given me "friend's and family" passes so that my family and I could go to RTX! Michael and Lindsay are my family so I was happy to be able to go support them and see all the fans! I personally feel i'm in my natural element at conventions I love cosplaying there and making new friends!
DAY 1
first day (8/3/18) I was giratina! This costume I made and has the ability to switch wings from origin form to alternate form!
first day (8/3/18)I got these dino plush that I always see in the mall and want, it was a good price so I got all the ones I wanted!
I got the rest on the second day (8/4/18) I loved the pokemon booth I had to go home and decide what to get on the next day!
I got the quilava and mudkip bigger because of the big impact on my collection they have, I was hoping for a giratina origin form one but oh well.... I went up to the booth and asked if they had me! (since I was dressed as giratina) so sad :(
*had someone throw a cyndaquil at me saying "GO CYNDAQUIL" and I pretend stomped on it... It was hillarious but I felt bad since it's one of my favorite pokemon xD
DAY TWO: I decided to recycle sylveon and fix it up a bit from the NYCC comic con previously!
I also went to the signing, since we're family I was able to show the family badge and skip the signing line to say hi and take a picture! I didn't stay long even though they asked if we wanted to. I didn't want to take away from the fans in line who were there to get signatures!
After the signing we found this awesome bendy set up with props to take pictures with!! Then of course I reconized the minecraft throne from the NYCC I went to previously so we took some pictures on there too!
We also went to the internship panel, I was originally going to hone my animation skills to join working on RWBY but decided I didn't want to, maybe voice acting in the future seems like something I would love to do!
we waited in line to try the thusters car set up! I video taped my Boyfriend driving the manual set up! It was fun!
reptar was so popular and I got a hug everyone hugged reptar!

We watched them play rainbow seige I think it was? This robot from the starwars booth was so cute it kept cooing and rolling over to people I loved it! We also took pictures with the storm trooper there he had the voice changer as well. Sounded real! They were from the make a wish foundation where they let kids meet the star wars characters!
DAY 3
I decided to do giratina again so I coudl take photos liek the sylveon ones above but... because of the panels I wasn't able to find the time to take them. We went backstage to talk to Michael and Lindsay so we didn't get enough time. The exhibit hall was closed too :(
We went to both the voice acting panel where they read off a script from RWBY but all did different voices! We were able to sit front row for being family!
The second panel was more hectic it was the Live off topic podcast, everyone was lined up while we were in the other panel. Our request to sit in the front didn't reach them in time so they had to pull chairs so that we could have front and center seats! It was really awesome seeing the fam in action! Then of course they did the baby announcement, I wasn't expecting them to do it there but I feel it was perfect timing!
I didn't really take pictures as I was mainly watching and having a good time at this point xD I wish I had taken just 1 nice front row pic, I know I photo bomed a few photos that they took though!
Overall, I had a blast and I love that it's game oriented because the NYCC has been slowly declining for me, my best year was still the first year I went. I got to play zelda skyward sword early, they had an anime section, and the artist alley was beautiful!
I can't wait to go again next year! I wish I had taken more photos of last year's RTX!
RTX 2019
Best convention i've had in a really long time tbh thanks to my friends being so awesome this time around! legit my second favorite convention situation! First is my first convention at NYCC before it went to crap lol

my dream cosplay right here, if I had 300$+ to drop on a cosplay someone else made other than me (thats why I make my own) I'd buy a perfectly made twilight princess zelda cosplay. It's beautiful and my favorite game. Definitely a dream of mine, the bootlegs made really aren't good!

these crepes were amazing, it was chloe's crepe with nutella! We all had it on day 1 then went back the other day for more xD

this was an AMAZING cosplay of springtrap, which is my FAV five nights at freddy's character. I've never seen him cosplayed but I've seen the others cosplayed a lot.
Met up with Michael and Lindsay, was able to skip the line to get my friends to meet them and get signatures but didn't stay long to hang out, didn't want to be in their way!
Made new friend, bret from canada! Very cool guy, met him at the VIP party night 1 the others are my highschool friends!

this cosplay was also just as amazing as the springtrap! He had voice activator that played all of majora's mask's voices and laugh. He even animated himself perfectly while doing it!
had a lot of jokers that I met do poses with me, tried to get lots of joker pictures just like my NYCC year where I tried to get all kaneki's!
this team skull scum tried to capture me on their team! How dare they! They tried to negotiate but I declined and foguht victoriously!

loved whoever was in this suit! They were so enthusiastic and perfect pikachu! hugging him was a must!
HUGE haul, reallyed tried to not buy too much but went overboard xD I wanted to get persona stuff since I didn't have any previously! The holo print is gorgeous.... my favorite piece and I can't wait to use the tarot cards! Got my rwby figure signed by michael and lindsay for coolness! Holo joker makes me regret the other joker poster tbh, It's definitely being framed ! They were giving out free take your heart cards too so we took some, I even keep one in my wallet for jokes! Works really well every time I open my wallet it makes me smile!
