It's official: I'm old
Yep, I am old and going to die soon. This has been made apparent in the last 24 hours:
1) The trainee at Burger King asked "How can I help you, sir?"
2) After exchanging "hellos" in the mailroom, a resident of mine said "You look tired today."
3) Shortly thereafter, one of the workers in the mailroom, a student here, says "I can help you with that, sir"
These "sirs" are not the hipster, casual fun "sirs" they are the you are much older and going to die much more painfully than I am type.
Also, I opted to go to bed early last night because of back pain.
Shit.
