Another Rad Evening

Dec 31, 2005 16:50

I did absolutely nothing on Thursday. It was the nice kind of nothing. Eating and playing nintendo without feeling worthless and lethargic. Woo!

On Friday I worked from 2-cl. Between the time I woke up and about 8:00 I was getting people together for Cosmic Bowling in Fargo. Plans were almost foiled by the roads, but my parents went to Fargo for the ball and they told me they were good. They were right, they were fine. Not great, but a little bit of caution and you would be fine.

About 30 minutes after I got done with work everybody going bowling was at the DQ. Cha'Von drove Greta and Ganyo, Ashley A. drove Joe, The Younger Poach, and Adam. In my car I had Kelda, Alanna, Esther and Tanner. 90's techno music was enjoyed by all.

Bowling was a blast. Short, but sweet. We bowled about 2.5 games over the course of about 1.5 hours. We had three lanes. One of the things I really liked about bowling was how the group was made up of people who are good friends and others who barely know one another, yet when we bowled we just grouped up and had fun. Ganyo, Tanner, Joe and I were on a lane.

Afterwards Perkins was had. I had a tough muffin decision to make, but thanks to Alanna, Ganyo and Tanner I was able to figure things out. We had 8 at a table and 4 in a booth. I hope the booth people weren't too excluded. Everybody seemed happy except on the way home. Esther, who I thought was cold, was crying. I am not quite sure why. I felt really bad when I figured it out. I gave her some cream savers and we got her cheered up.

Highlights of the Evening:

Ganyo decided to bowl left handed since she wasn't doing all too hot with the right and got a strike.

Greta and Tanner actually believing Kelda when she said that Alanna spent an entire week and Tesch's house. Tanner caught on quick, but Greta was totally in the dark.

After our first game I took note of Tanner's score: 69. Ganyo was like "So? what does that mean?" I look at Tanner, he shrugs and looks puzzled. I was like "whoa, are you serious" Ganyo responds: "No of course not, I know what it means!" and begins to chuckle all Ganyo style, Tanner however was still clueless on the number so I told him and we all had a good laugh.

Perkins was a highlight as a whole the more I think about it. Wow. Great night. I am really enjoying my senior year.
