(Year One) Journey
Ah, good to be back in the states again. I went to Mexico about two weeks ago, and a lot has happened. I had a good time in the land of the Aztecs; went to chichen itza saw the ruins there. Man was it fucking hot as balls. I got plenty of pictures of the ruins, temples, and the scenery, but the merchants there wouldn't leave me alone. I also went snorkeling off the coast of playa del carmen, which is down the way from Cancun. It was fun playing with the fishies, but I had to be careful with the reef, because i had a couple of close calls. Yeah so I mentioned about Mexico being hot before, so obviously i got sunburned. It was so bad that when I ran out of sunblock, I went to buy some, and the fucking thing costs me twenty dollars.
Yup, got hosed big time, but I ended up finding some more that I had stashed away so it was not so bad. I went cave diving in a sanotec, and jumped from a 35 foot cliff into the water. People thought I was nuts but I was just having fun, and that fun would cost me. I forgot that the cave water was fresh water, so I got sick, and had the shits for a bit. Still, being sick didn't stop me from having fun. I met a lot of people from different places; England, France, Germany, Columbia, Argentina, Italy, Canada and various states from the good old US. I hung out with this crazy bunch of brits during my final days there. I got shit faced, but not as bad as the EPCOT incident (That's another story for another time). Even though I had fun while I was there I couldn't wait to get home. I have nothing else to write, so till' next time.
