Letters from my past.
This is fantastic. I have ten letters here all adressed as such:
1. to Meghan of 2005, from 1998
2. to Meghan of 2005 from 1999
3. From Meghan Zaremba, 4-24-00 Do not open until you live in college
4. to Meghan in 2005 from 2002, for when you go to college
5. August 2002, to Meghan from Meghan
6. To Meghan when she's in college 2005/6 from 2002
7. to Meghan of 2006 from 2003 (do not open until college)
8. to Meghan in college from Meghan in March 3rd, 2003 Carpe Diem
9. Do not open until college! Love, Meghan March 24th 2004
10. To Meghan in eight (or so) months!
I'm really excited about opening them on September 3rd, or sometime that week I get to school. You can tell that going to school has been, like, my life's ambition. I was brought up believing that life doesn't even start until college. Let's what my 9 year old self thought back in 1998. I wish I had started writing letters to my college self sooner, but I'll settle for ten wonderful letters! The only year that I'm missing a letter to myself is 2001, which just sucks, since my collection doesn't seem complete now.
What child thinks to write a letter to herself every year, and tucks them away for the future?
I am rather scared though...I must have let down my 11 year old self by not going to BU. I will though, in time.
