HARRY POTTER EVENT NEWS!!!
Listen up everyone: This is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT STUFF.
Friday marks a very big day for Harry Potter fans, along with Hearts and Stars bookshop. Saturday is the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and friday is our release party. Most of the shoppes at Cobbs Corner have pulled together to make this party amazing. When you get to Hearts and Stars on friday, pick up your Marauder's Map to see what shoppes are pulling together the trivia hunt. The stores (in advance) are as follows:
Apothecary- Ventures
Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream- Maggie Moo's
Honeydukes- Hilliards
Quality Quidditch Supplies- EB Games
Wizard Wheezes- Natural Surroundings
Dervish & Bangs- EMS
Flourish & Blotts- HEARTS & STARS BOOKSHOP

These stores will be open (generally) until eight o'clock or so, so make sure that you get your trivia answers into each stores raffle jar. There will be drawings at the Bookshop at eleven thirty that night. These raffles are for specially made gift baskets (Hilliards baskest is AMAZING), and gift certificates. If you return to Hearts & Stars having completed all of the trivia questions, you can enter another raffle to win Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in audio cds. On your quest for answers, beware not to run into dementors (yes, they're out there), or Voldemort. If you do, run to Honeydukes (Hilliards) and dip some chocolate to ward them off. You may decide to play a game of Wizard Bingo at Gambol & Japes (Village Toy Shoppe), or a Harry Potter video game at Quality Quidditch Supplies (EB Games). There's is SO much for you all to see.

6:00pm to 8:00pm- Face painting infront of the Apothecary (Ventures) and Honeydukes (Hilliards)
6:30pm to 8:30pm- Blossom the clown makes balloon animals at Wizard Wheezes (Natural Surroundings)
7:30pm & 8:30pm- Acrobat Shows by the Circus Famoly Sardine infront of Flourish & Blotts (HSBookshop)
9:00pm- Free showing of Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban in front of Flourish & Blotts (HSB)
11:30pm- Raffle tickets drawn for prizes.
12:01- RELEASE OF HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!!
There are things going on that aren't on the map, for instance, Bombay Company is having a sale through out the whole day, and other places are having individual activities such as that. Be sure to bring a blanket or chairs for the viewing of the HP movie (the screen will be outside, dropped down from Halfway Cafe). Also bring cameras to take photo's with your favorite character at the Mirror of Erised! There'll a Hagrid, along with MANY other characters (yours truely is Hermione Granger :) ).
We are selling the book at twenty percent off still, which comes out to $25.19 from thirty bucks. You can always prepay (even on friday, even an HOUR away from selling the book), or if you have already prepaid, pick up a ticket on friday to get to the express lane when getting your Harry Potter book at midnight. I understand that you may be think that you can prepay at Barnes and Noble for 40% (or whatever the heck that is) off, but please people, we are running an independant and small family business here, and we're diffinently making this night worth your while. We have been working so hard to bring this party to you since a year ago when we first learned of it's release date.
Tell your friends, tell your siblings, tell your parents. Come on over, everyone's invited- even if you aren't even buying the book!
