He wasn't listening.
He was... snoring?
Janet poked him. "Daniel!"
Daniel snapped to attention with a snort. "What?" he said, rubbing his eyes. "I'm listening! Yellow bathroom, green living room... I got it."
"Not green, Daniel. Spring leaf." How she loved the sound of that. "And for the curtains we'll go with the bishop's sleeve window treatment I saw on..."
He was snoring again.
Janet huffed. Time to pull out the heavy artillery.
"It's wakey time," she cooed softly as she took her penlight out of her pocket. She lifted his eyelid and...
"YOW! Wha... Janet!"
She smirked. "Listening now?"
