Vid recs - SPN and OUaT
1. No Bravery, by xLibbeerty - (Watch here on YouTube or click below for the embed.) This vid is just... heartwrenchingly gorgeous. Beautiful editing, emotional voiceovers from Dean, Sam, and Castiel, perfect clips from all seasons showing the death and sorrow that follow the Winchesters around... it's flawless. I especially loved the use of season 7 clips (up to 7x17), and the clips of Azazel and Lucifer each time the line "He has been here" came up. It's amazing. Go watch!
2. Tell me we both matter, don't we?, by LightNeverFades - (Watch here on YouTube, no embed available for this one.) First of all, I love the acoustic-ish version of Running Up That Hill used in this vid. Second of all, what a perfect chronicle of the relationship between Dean and Castiel. It's so touching, and beautifully edited. Spoilers for 7x17.
3. Through the Ghost, by 00shelly77 - (Watch here on YouTube or click below for the embed.) Another Dean and Castiel vid, and wow, is this one ever powerful. It's basically Castiel from Dean's POV, and I think the vidder perfectly captured Dean's struggle between feeling betrayed and just wanting his best friend back. Heartbreakingly beautiful. Spoilers for 7x17.
4. I'm screaming, they stole my everything, by Frozensify - (Watch here on YouTube or click below for the embed.) It's been a while since I've watched a purely Sam and Dean vid, but this one was worth the wait. It's centred around Sam's "I just want you to be my brother again" speech from Fresh Blood way back in season 3, but the clips go up to present day. I know I use the words "gorgeous" and "beautiful" too often when I'm vid-reccing, but they're always true!

I am so in love with Once Upon a Time, and this vid pretty much sums up the reasons why. The song is so perfect for the subject matter, and the clips are edited so perfectly with the lyrics, it's crazy. Spoilers up to 1x17.
