Such a wonderful episode! Burke completely surprised me, and Christina's speech was fabulous. I'm so glad she was the first to break, and the thing about being in it for the long haul.....oh, it just nearly made me cry. I know how hard that was for her, and I know Burke knew how hard it was for her. She said she didn't need to win this one........CHRISTINA said she didn't need to win! It's much too much for my little heart to take.
But then, George comes out with this speech that fairly took my breath away! I had the same reactions to it as Callie did, I think. You could just see it all over her face. Even though I know it is probably a little too convenient with the death of his dad, I can't help but want her to say yes LOL! At the very least, he deserves some Mclovin' after that.
Derrick and Meredith were sweet as always......I can't help it, I just love them together. I am totally feeling Addy and Kourev. McSteamy must stay, cause I need his hotness. I love Nazi Bailey, and Izzy did the absolute perfect thing with the money. It was just......right. I love Callie. I love her interactions with EVERYONE. She's a great character.
This episode reminded me of why and just how much I love this show! Hilarious, poignant, shocking......truly one of the best shows on television, and deserving of every accolade and word of praise it has received.
PS-- For some reason now, I have to put a Mc on everything. This show seriously (seriously? seriously!?) changes the way I talk! I am a Mcnut.
