My friend Brittany is mixed and I got an African violet today, so I named it after her.
I taught myself how to french braid my own hair.

My walls used to be covered in posters and magazine cutouts and photos...literally covered with no white space....and I took it all down today...very bittersweet. Depressing taking all the stuff down, but extremely kick ass because it means I'm coming home soon.
I'm so glad I changed my lj name. I mean, I figured it was time, since I've been wanting to change it since I got one of these. A bajillion years ago.
I made Melissa a Cd of my favorite Ben Folds songs...I think i might have to make a copy for myself. I seriously think the luckiest is the sweetest song I have ever heard. Ever. God Damn. Preach it, Ben.
