(no subject)
Ugh, I'm sick and I hate it. I don't want to miss school, or sleepovers, or friends, but I'm taking care of myself... here is one girl who is NOT going to burn the candle at both ends. So here I am in bed, with nothing but a laptop, cup of tea, and tissues to keep me company. If anyone wants to surprise me with soup, I'd seriously think you were the sweetest person on earth.. and would probably start to cry because of your care... so maybe that's not such a good idea.
Schoolwork is unbelieveably voluminous. It's not that it's hard work, there's just so much of it! But I love my classes and my teachers are truely fantastic, so I don't mind getting buried under a blizzard of paperwork. Once and a while I'm able to shovel my way out and actually see people.
I have a new baby cousin! Her name is Elisabeth Grace, five and a half pounds and 21 inches long. She was born five weeks early, but she's doing great, so Tommy and Tamora will get to take her home in a day or two. You've never met two more proud parents, they're both so awed, infatuated, and scared shitless, it's the sweetest thing. They're going to be their best for her, you can tell.
OH, everyone should try to make it over to my house Saturday and/or Sunday. We're having a monsterous lawn sale with some really cool stuff in it. I'd love to see you!
