The good so outweighs the stress

Copying and pasting (w/ minor edits for clarity) two days of gushing about Andrew to Nacho:

Despite all my stress over the weekend, as (logically) expected, things were great last night between us when Andrew got home from New Orleans - although he spoiled my romantic gesture at the airport. lol

I was standing there all pretty near the base of the escalator coming down to luggage pickup, had a "MR. A. GURBENGURGER" sign all prepped to surprise him with... and then he calls me and he's trying to find me outside along the arrivals lane. He used the wrong exit! :P lol

So I walk out to him with a pout as I hold up the sign.. took him a second to realize what I'd done, but then he just grinned and laughed and was like "You. are. the. BEST." And I fake soft-slapped him on the chest for spoiling my plans, but then we kissed and all was well.

Spent the night over there last night despite needing to get up extra early for work today.. but I just didn't want to leave him and we couldn't stop chatting. He told me he missed me and loved me enough to put all my crazy back in the dark hole I wish it'd stay in in my brain. And he brought a few other cheesy touristy trinkets home for me aside from just the tacky postcard I asked for. He brought back 2 mugs and said I could pick from them, which I sort of did, but then said I wanted them both to stay at his place so we can enjoy a cup of coffee in them soon together. :) I don't care if the stuff is corny, I absolutely love that he thought of me to want to buy me several of these little doodads. :) :)

Oh, and he noticed I'd vacuumed and did the dishes and the litter and every new thing he noticed he kept grinning and repeating that I'm the best. :D Didn't seem to weird him out at all. He seemed to love that I did it for him.

Recounting January 21, 2014 - First Snow Day! (Well, barely. Didn't start 'til 4 p.m.)

He made us chili last night! Cooked it while I finished work and then came over in the snow with a big pot of it, hot cocoa, extra marshmallows, popcorn & a 12-pack of beer for us. I was in domesticated heaven.
But his chili.. holy shit... he said he cut back on the spice from how he normally makes it and it still made me sweat and cry! lol It was damn good though.
...
So before he came over, he was like "It'll really taste better tomorrow once it's really set."
I texted back "A man I love is cooking for me. It could be the worse chili you've ever made and I'd still think it's the best thing I've ever eaten.

andrew, love
