Today while walking home I saw an awesome hippie van from PEI! He asked me for a smoke. He was stoned out of his mind. It was hilarious!!

So here is my recap of the New Brunswick trip!!

Friday: I awoke early to journey into Fredericton. We had an Elton John and Led Zeppelin Sing-a-long the entire car ride there. It turned out that I forgot Jason's address at home and I didn't have his phone number. (my parents were pissed) We got lost. We had to follow the blue question mark signs to the information centre, where a nice old lady gave us directions to St Thomas.
We showed up fashionably late for our appointment, though they were very understanding.
Our tour guide was January. She reminded me of Janet and I immediately liked her. The St Thomas campus is gorgeous! My parents loved it as well and among the excitement they bought me a STU sweatshirt. haha My dad thought it was "snazzy"!
The rest of the day was spent shopping at the Regent mall.

Saturday: Heather, Dale's sister showed me around Miramachi. We went shopping, I met her friends and we went to a party in the evening. There had to have been at least 60 people in this tiny cabin in the middle of nowhere. New Brunswickians sure know how to party! I have never been so drunk! They kept making fun of me saying that "Nova Scotians, they are all cheap drunks!" One guy had a quart or vodka and then some...and he was still standing!!!!
Heather kept trying to set me up with her cousin Chris. He was really cute but when I went to talk to him, I found out he was very weird! I think he had a hand fetish. It really creeped me out!

Sunday: I awoke to the smell of roasting turkey. It was nice, minus the huge hangover. It felt like I had been run over a few times. It was worth it though.
Niki and I headed to the mall. Our purpose: shoes! Niki ended up with two pair of boots, while I left the mall with a large double/double from Tim Horten's and a pack of gum! Maybe next time, eh?
Turkey dinner was amazing! It was spent with Dale's family. Dale's mom is the world's greatest squash maker!!(don't tell dad) The difference, she adds milk, butter and ginger! Go figure! Yummy sqaush!
After dinner we went moose calling! At first I was skeptical but I had a lot of fun. We went to the middle of a scary forest and Dale started making moose calls. At first I found this extremely funny, but when a moose started answering his calls, I almost pissed myself!
We then headed back to Niki's place. The adults got loaded and had some pretty interesting conversations. It was quite entertaining!

Monday: The long drive home! My parents surprisingly let me drive part way home, until the rain storm hit, then they made me pull over. I thought dad was going to have a heart attack. He looked terrified. He had his hand on the 'Oh Jesus handle' the whole time.

We are going back in May. I can hardly wait!
