(no subject)
OK im not trying to be superstitious or anything, but this is just a little weird lol...
so i just got back from seeing Just My Luck (for the second time hehe, and if any of you havent seen it yet YOU MUST. because its amazing. ahem anyways) and if you dont know what the movies about, its a girl who has really good luck, kisses this guy with bad luck, and gets his bad luck so all this really sucky stuff starts happening to her.
So i walk out of the theater with my friend Sarah and all of a sudden its FREEZING outside. we run to the Hilton valet where the car was that my parents left for me and go to pay. here i am thinking its gonna be a couple dollars or something, and the guy goes "that'll be $10".. SO i have to borrow money from sarah for that, THEN we get in the car and i look at the front and the gas light is on and the line is wayyyy below empty. im too afraid to get gas at night, so i just have to try to make it home. i pull out in traffic and are coming up to the traffic light thats green and a HUGE group of tourists decides to cut out infront of me and take their time laughing and talking and crossing the street. by the time they get across the lights red, so i wait for that and then get my protected green arrow. but NOOOOO a cop going the opposite way figures he can just pull out in front of me and go instead, but he stops in the middle of the intersection. so i go straight instead, keep driving along, turn a corner, and of course THERES A FREAKING TRAIN. have to wait for that for about 5 minutes in the pitch black while the gas is slowly running out. that finishes, i keep going, and come up to a flashing sign that says "lane closures ahead". im getting pretty pissed by this point, and end up having to wait about 10 minutes for the guy on the cell phone holding the STOP sign flip it around and let me go over the bridge.
im not saying that the movie "rubbed off on me" or anything, but it IS kind of ironic. and scary hah...
