The conversation with her father and Preston the evening before wasn't exactly unexpected. Meg understood the need to tighten security and to be honest, she wanted to be home, wanted to see for herself on a regular basis that her family was safe. Meg flinched at the sound, then counted to three before calling out, "It's open."
