(no subject)
so im in a really fancy hotel in rochester, NY and the time change is working perfect for me. ive been waking up at creepy early hours lately and over here it isnt so weird. ive got the fancy hotel arm chair facing the window and im watching it snow. pretty rad. my grandpa died which is why were here and weve been going through old pictures of my moms side of the family and all the old relatives are telling crazy stories. its cool and i think really good for my mom- i guess i never really thought about how much time we spend with my dads side of the family and how little time we spend with my moms. ive got a pile of pictures now of my grandparents their parents and their parents. crazy. who knew there were pictures of that long ago?? and damn i have an attractive family. they all look like cute mobsters.
its a sad but good trip. todays the viewing and tomorrows the burial. im pretty freaked out about the viewing.
im glad to be here, but im excited to be home. arcata is so full of love right now.
